On Monday Night Raw it was announced that due to last weeks comments by CM Punk about Vince and the WWE, Vince has officially suspended CM Punk for the remainder of his WWE contract. He lost his title shot against Cena at the Money In The Bank PPV and was not allowed to appear on Raw this week or every again.

As a result of this, Cena shocked everyone by coming to the ring and announcing that he has gone over the head of the "Anonymous Raw General Manager" and called Vince out directly. Cena then announced that Vince was on his private jet and on his way to the arena.

Vince Tells Cena Why

Vince did indeed show up at the end of the show. He walked down to the ring, and told the crowed exactly why he suspended CM Punk. In Vince's words "because CM Punk deserved it." This announcement caused Cena to come down to the ring and start to argue with Vince. Cena told Vince that this was stupid and the old Vince was a fighter who wouldn't back down from a fight like this. Vince then said that the real reason he was suspending CM Punk was because he was afraid that Cena could not defeat him and that if CM Punk won the match and the WWE Championship he would leave the company with it and take it with him to another company and this would embarrass Vince. 

This all seems very similar to the Bret Hart indecent at Survivor Series.

After Vince's comments about not having faith in Cena to win, Cena said that Punk had earned his title shot and that if Vince was going to suspend him because he was afraid Cena couldn't win then the WWE Championship was meaningless to him. Cena then threw the belt into Vince's hands and walked out of the ring. 

Cena Hands Over The WWE Championship

Vince snapped and chased Cena up the ramp and threw the belt back into Cena's hands and said "fine you want the match you got the match." But then Vince added that if Cena does in fact lose this match and CM Punk walks out of the WWE with the Championship Belt, that immediately following that match Vince himself would march down to the ring, look Cena in the eyes, and say the infamous Vince line "YOU'RE FIRED!!!"

Money In The Bank

So its official, Cena vs Punk for the WWE Championship at the Money In The Bank PPV and if Punk wins he gets to walk out of the WWE with the Championship Belt, and Vince will fire Cena!
