TNA Update

I've been overwhelmed with WWE news around Survivor Series. Here is an update on TNA...

Bobby Roode is the TNA Champion, however, he was not the man responsible for attacking James storm backstage. That man revealed himself on last week's Impact. It was Kurt Angle. Sting booked a 30 minute Iron Man match between AJ Styles and Champion Bobby Roode. I'm also sure there will be a match between Angle and Storm.

Austin Aries is still the X-Division Champion. Robbie E defeated Eric Young to become the new Television Champion. Since returning to TNA, Gail Kim attacked Velvet Sky her first week on Impact. Her second week she won the Knockouts Tag-Team Championships with Madison Rayne. That Sunday at the PPV she defeated Velvet Sky to win the TNA Knockouts Championship. Not bad for her first 2 weeks back in the company. However, TNA had an amazing 10 woman gauntlet match on Impact to determine the new number one contended for the Knockouts title, and after a long match the winner was Mickie James! So the next Knockouts match will be between Gail Kim and Mickie James. The only other news is the Tag- Team division. The Mexican Americans complained that they have no competition, so Sting convinced Crimsion and Matt Morgan to put their differences aside and form a dominate Tag-Team. They agreed and went on to win the Tag-Team Championships that night on Impact!
