Kevin Nash reportedly tried returning to WWE TV without dying his hair black but officials insisted that he dye it black because they wanted him to look younger. Nash tried to get out of it but WWE wouldn't budge. It's said that Nash prefers his gray hair and when he was in TNA, people pushed for him to dye it but he wouldn't.
As seen on Monday's RAW, Kevin Nash said that CM Punk looked like a cook from a Waffle House in Pikesville. It's said that Nash was actually taking a shot at TNA, referring to Pikesville, Kentucky – one of TNA's hottest markets for live events. Nash was always against working live events in TNA and backstage at the few he did work, he never took them seriously.
Kevin Nash will be at RAW this Monday and he is expected to be a regular character going forward.
He will be doing a program with CM Punk which will culminate in the two meeting in the ring. This is supposed to give Punk a major name to work with that would put him over.
Kevin Nash
Nash did not get a big reaction coming out on RAW, and the general feeling backstage is that WWE needed to do a better job explaining to the current generation of fans who he was. This was originally not a concern because of the much bigger reaction Nash got at the Royal Rumble.
The backstage reactions to the back and forth between Kevin Nash and CM Punk were that Punk got the better of Nash and that Nash's comments came off as too inside.
Kevin Nash was reportedly pulled from his independent bookings this weekend on WWE request. The company needed him in Pittsburgh to take all the medical exams so that he can be cleared to physically compete. As noted earlier, he's expected to be facing CM Punk.
Now a quick history lesson for those who don't know... and you should be ashamed of yourself as a wrestling fan if you don't lol...
Kevin Nash debuted in the WWF as Diesel and was brought in as Shawn Michael's bodyguard. This was when HBK was the Intercontinental Champion and feuding with Razor Ramon (Scott Hall). While HBK's bodyguard, the two won the WWF Tag-Team Championships, and once Diesel turned on HBK he would win the Intercontinental Championship as well.
WWF Tag-Team Champions
Once on his own Diesel went on to win the WWF Championship in possibly the shortest title match in history. Diesel walked into the ring with the current champion Bob Backlund and immediately hit him with the "Jack Knife Power Bomb" and got the 3 count and won the title.
WWF Champion
Diesel main evented Wrestlemania 11 with HBK, and they were escorted to the ring by Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy. After Diesel won the match and the title he left with both girls. I would call that the highlight of his career.
Shortly after that Diesel sold out and went to WCW for more money and less actual wrestling. Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) went as well. This split up the most powerful group in wrestling known as The Kliq. The members consisted of Shawn Michaels (HBK), Kevin Nash (Diesel), Scott Hall (Razor Ramon), Shawn Waltman (X-Pac / 1-2-3 Kid), and Paul Levesque (Triple H). Just a few important names in the world of wrestling lol.
The only picture I have ever found of all 5 members of The Kliq together!
There last match together took place inside a steel cage in Madison Square Garden, and after the match the 4 hugged and broke character and this was a huge scandal back at the time.
The End Of The Kliq
Nash would return with Hall and Hogan after Vince bought WCW, and the nWo invaded the WWE leading up to Wrestlemania 18, however, Nash was the only one of the 3 that didn't have a match. Hogan fought The Rock, and Hall fought Stone Cold Steve Austin. Nash just accompanied Hall to the ring. So I wouldn't really call this Nash's comeback. He tried to return to the ring but blew out his knee. Eventually he did return and had a brief feud with Triple H of course, that is until Nash cut off all his hair and dyed it blonde for the Punisher movie. After that he resurfaced in TNA where he amounted to nothing for years just like WCW lol.
Nash made another shocking return to WWE at the Royal Rumble last year. I was shocked. His attempt at a comeback in the WWE pretty much failed miserably and just when The Main Event Mafia was supposed to reunite in TNA Nash and Booker T jumped ship and went to WWE as "legends" and took the huge pay raise just to do nothing, which is pretty much all they have ever been good at! Booker T at least became an announcer on Smackdown. Nash had not been since since the Rumble.

The Kliq, minus Scott Hall, also reunited at the Hall Of Fame ceremony last year when Shawn Michaels was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. I guess it should be noted that HBK is the first and only member of The Kliq to go into the Hall of Fame. Perhaps because he was the one that stayed in the WWE and didn't leave for WCW, or because he was the only one that actually ever wrestled or did anything or had any talent lol. Triple H followed in Shawn's footsteps and is therefore a guaranteed Hall Of Famer. Its doubtful that Nash or Hall or Waltman would ever be inducted. Hall is either in jail or rehab and is a total drunk that never amounted to anything. Watlman is a joke. But for some reason Nash, either because of Shawn or Triple H, or maybe he had a good relationship with Vince, or just because he is the only one not in jail or rehab, he is constantly given chances to come back when ever he wants, despite the fact that he fails repeatedly.
Hall Of Fame Ceremony
Now Nash has returned to destroy the amazing momentum of CM Punk. Nash got the nostalgic cheer when he returned at the Rumble just as a joke in his old Diesel costume, but when he returned and cost CM Punk the title he was rejected by the crowd that either doesn't know who he is or remembers but just doesn't care anymore!

But for all my Kevin Nash bashing here I will say this, he may have had no real talent as a wrestler, and may have thrown away a great career as WWF/WWE champion to sit in the back and collect more money that he ever deserved in WCW and later TNA, Kevin Nash was still unquestionably a player haha. And that is how I choose to remember him!
