TNA Star Jesse Sorensen has been released from the hospital and is back home in Tampa, FL. Jesse still has a lot of recovery ahead of him but obviously being out of the hospital is a very good sign.
He was injured in a match at the TNA PPV Against All Odds when his opponent went for a back-flip to the outside and his knee came directly down on Sorensen's head crushing his C1 vertebra. Jesse fell awkwardly to the floor and struggled to move. The referee checked on him and gave the X single that means injury and help rushed out to ringside. TNA put the cameras on the crowd and the announcers filled in while emergency workers took Sorensen backstage and to the hospital where he had been until now. So that fact that he is back home is great news, but all reports have said that he is paralyzed. After the accident he had feeling above the waist, but no feeling below the waist and no movement. However, on Impact they reported he was regaining more and more feeling each day and the doctors expect him to make a full recover and regain full movement, but it should take at least a year.
