Raw Report

Lots of bad news from Raw...

Shawn Michaels (HBK) returned to the crowds delight and said he was there to convince Triple H to accept the Undertaker's challenge for a rematch at Wrestlemania. However, Triple H came out to the ring and refused. He said as a wrestler he wanted to end the Undertaker's streak, but now as the CEO of the company he knows the Undertaker is worth money and he can't risk losing him.

More bad news for Zack Ryder. He was at the show in his wheelchair with his neck brace and his back brace still on. He was there to surprise Eve with roses for Valentines Day. But before he could find her, Kane did. John Cena came to her rescue, and afterwards she kissed Cena. Zack just happened to be there in time to see it. Later Ryder went to the ring to confront Cena and Cena looked like he was going to hit Ryder. Then Ryder left the ring and went back up the ramp. Kane suddenly came out and ran Ryder off the stage and he crashed hard on the floor below. Cena ran to check on Ryder and then Eve came out and the crowd turned on her even worse than they turned on Cena.

Cena and Eve are clearly Heels now, and Ryder won't be back in action for some time. Hopefully by Wrestlemania at least. I would have liked to have seen him at the Elimination Chamber PPV, I assumed in a rematch with Jack Swagger for the United States Championship, but I guess that wont happen. Maybe that match will take place at Wrestlemania?

The worst news however, was Randy Orton's injury in the main event against the Big Show...

Randy Orton was reportedly injured in his match against The Big Show at Monday's RAW Supershow from San Diego, California. Word is that Orton won't be able to compete in Sunday's Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Title.

No details are available yet but it looks like Orton will be replaced by Mark Henry, who is being brought back early from injury due to lack of depth on the roster.

WWE.com has confirmed that Randy Orton suffered a concussion last night at the RAW Supershow after being hit in the head with the World Championship Belt by Daniel Bryan. The report also confirmed that Orton will not be cleared to compete at this Sunday's Elimination Chamber PPV.

"Randy sustained head trauma following his match with Big Show, in which Daniel Bryan interfered, and he was evaluated in the training room immediately afterward," WWE physician Dr. Michael Sampson told WWE.com. "Due to his symptoms as well as his neurological evaluation, he was diagnosed with a concussion. We will be doing more testing to see how he's going to do as far as short term vs. long term."

WWE has yet to officially announce a replacement for Orton, although it is believed that Mark Henry will take his place in the match.

I think this is a bad idea. Its ridiculous that they brought Orton back from his back injury too soon, but then they gave him a head shot when he has a history of bad concussions. Now he is out of action for sure, and they are forcing Mark Henry to return to action even thought his knees gave out on Smackdown and he had to be removed from the Elimination Chamber. Well all this means is legally Orton can't be cleared to wrestle because its a head injury and those are taken seriously now, but because Henry only has knee problems he can be forced to compete. Although I am sure he won't be in the match for long. He will probably enter early and be the first eliminated. For his sake I hope that's true.

They claim the Henry move is due to a lack of depth in the roster but there are plenty of wrestlers who could take his spot and would be happy to do so. A few suggestions... Drew McIntyre, Ezekiel Jackson, Hunico, or Justin Gabriel I think would be obvious choices. They could put the Royal Rumble winner Sheamus in the Chamber match. Perhaps Christian, Sin Cara, or Rey Mysterio could be ready to make a surprise return before Wrestlemania? Hell why not have the Undertaker make a shocking appearance?
